I am the son of a preacher man who serviced many various areas of West Virginia. I grew up poor but didn't really know what that meant until I was much older. I have five younger siblings and we had fun in the hollers of coal mining country.

I graduated High School from Dodridge County High located in West Union, WV and our mascot was known as the Bull Dogs. I graduated with an Associate of Science degree from Bluefield State College in Bluefield, WV where I studied Computer Science.

I began working in the IT field in 1981 and retired 31 years later. During retirement I decided to learn some new skills and to redevelop my knowledge so that I could help others.
